  • Dr. Mike Ridlen

    Dr. Mike Ridlen is the owner and operator of Colorado Valley Veterinary Services. A 1997 graduate of Texas A & M College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Ridlen is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Texas Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Ridlen has treated species ranging from llamas to dogs, to guinea pigs. His interests include medical care of all species, along with orthopedics, diagnostics, and large and small animal surgery. He believes that the smallest animal surgery he ever performed was a successful c-section for a hamster. When not a work, he is home learning to play the guitar. Along with his wife, Kathie and his daughters, he lives with their dog, Murphie, and one cat, Mazzi.

  • Kathie Ridlen
    Practice Manager

    Kathie Ridlen, The wife of Dr. Ridlen, is proud to be the office manager. She graduated in 1990 from the University of Houston with a B.S. in mathematics and then taught school from 1990 - 1998. When not running the office, Kathie loves to spend time with her daughters and enjoys reading and gardening.

  • Bobbie Armstrong
    Clinic Manager

    Bobbie started with us in November of 2012. She graduated from the University of Houston Victoria in May 2013 with degrees in Psychology and Communications. After being a stay at home mom for 14 years, Bobbie brings a warm and caring feel to our office. She's always available for a hug when needed. Bobbie is happily married with two kids. In her downtime, she enjoys family outings, hiking, shooting, camping, church activities, and gardening. Bobbie's pets include her dogs Dixie Cup and Mighty Mouse, her cats Polly, Catsanova and Stormy and their bottle raised a calf, 74.

  • Carly Koehn
    Technical Supervisor

    Carly joined CVVS in November of 2012. She graduated from Houston Community College with a certificate in Veterinary Paramedics and has experience in wildlife rehab, zoo keeping and has previous experience as a veterinary technician. Carly is a fun loving team member always willing to help. She is an animal lover at heart and would rescue every lost pet if she could. Her permanent house guests include Louie, Hugo and Nelly, the dogs; Sadie, Izzy and Olivia the cats and her bearded dragon.

  • Kaci Clayton

    Kaci joined the CVVS team in August of 2017. Growing up on a ranch in Cat Spring, TX has instilled in her a love for all kinds of animals. She shares her home with her dogs: Priscilla and Dolly. In her spare time, Kaci loves spending time with her family, especially her little nieces. She also enjoys horseback riding, fishing, and learning new beauty techniques. Her bright smile and giggly laugh brighten up the clinic.

  • Julia Campos
    Customer Service Specialist

    Julia joined the CVVS family in Augustof 2018. Growing up in Columbus, Texas has given Julia a love for the smalltown life. She enjoys living the quiet life with her husband and 4 kids. In additionto the human members of her family, Julia also shares her life with her dog –Lena, cat- Diamond, and Ethel the rooster. In her spare time, she has fun campingand fishing with her family at Somerville Lake.
